- Individually racked for iron plating to precise standards in ETI's own plating department.
- Centerless ground to assure the close fit in the barrel of the iron necessary for efficient heat transfer.
- Alloy overplated on all but the working surface to inhibit oxidation and amalgamation as well as sticking or freezing of the tip shank in the iron.
- Pre-tinned on the working surface providing each tip ready for immediate use.
